I know there have been topics on this before, so I've had a look through some, but the search is down as usual so I didn't find that many threads, sorry...!

I fancy an RC plane which will be able to withstand a bit of abuse - I've had a bit of a play with some before and reckon I'll be ok with them, but fancy letting mates/gf play with it too, so I want something that won't break easily, but will still be fun once I've/we've got the hang of it.

I've seen this recommended http://www.flyingwings.co.uk/index.php?route=produ... - is this a good idea? Or are there better alternatives?

I'd like to keep the entire cost of everything needed to <£100, preferably nearer the £50 mark!

Cheers smile

That plane was recommended on here before. Looks like it fits the bill.

Ok, thanks. If I went for the 4 channel mega deal it says that I'd also need:

> Lipo compatible charger
> 4 Channel radio with elevon mixing

Has anyone any cheap but fairly decent recommendations for these? I'm a bit lost tbh!

I use Spektrum, but the Hitec in their site looks good for the money. Other than used kit it would be hard to beat.

Plenty of chargers, but look at Ripmax for a good value one. Just needs to charge a 3S by the looks, so not too taxing.
