..Please. Having bought too many man toys this week (chain saw, hedge cutter and more crap), her indoors will go mad with another edition soon. Having said that I want a buggy anyway for use in the garden and park racing my son's little Thunder Tiger ZT2 truck. Don't want to spend much, so looking at used budget around £150ish - we do have a charger/transformer albeit 27mhz. Having not been in the hobby for years, I can see things have moved on a lot - Is something like an old Schumacher Cat 2000 really too ancient, parts hard to find etc? Or am I really advised to get something newer, the Ansmanns look cheap? Is it sensible to upgrade to 2.4ghz now?

Any help much appreciated, would be nice to thrash one of these around again smile

I would have to buy a RC10 classic as I gave up the sport due to this car back in 84, as a kid I could not upgrade to one, so have to give up the nationals.

The model has been re released and yes will not be up with the latest , but a great car to own imo.

Ended up buying a Durango DEX210, is great fun and pretty quick. Having to get quickly used to these dam Lipo batteries though!
