Very nice model - the mud on the plough (or whatever it is) is particularly realistic.

For me, the thing that might make it look even better is the machine gun - could you have drilled it out to make itlook more realistic, or even used a resin or brass aftermarket item?

Hi, agreed - I usually drill the guns out but this is only 1/72 and didnt want to wreck it. Not sure if they do aftermarket 30 cals at that scale but must check.
The thing on the front is a Cullin plough - enabled the tanks to dig through hedges and banking rather than go over the top exposing belly plates

I see. You can get a micro drill set form Maplins, and there are bits in there that can drill out tiny barrels. I've just done it on a 1:72 Gloster Gladiator and previously on a 1:72 Bf109. I don't drill then through, just beyond the tip cone, then fill with dark wash.

There is a company caled Master Models that do incredible brass barrels - I've used them previously and I can't figure out how they machine such small items so beautifully:

I love how the effect of the cast-metal and welds have been captured in the kit, and regarding the mud on the plough, was that part of the kit or have you added it yourself?

Very nice kit though!
