Just found my old skyline from way back when. No controller, no servos and the battery is totally dead.

Would it be possible to resurrect it now or is it just too old? If there's kit left out there, what's good? Could I go brushless and 2.4GHz or will none of that fit? smile

All modern motors controllers etc will fit. Have a look around and see what combo you want and spend spend spend

Oh ok. Quite surprised by that as I have a range of servos / motors from my helicopters and none of them go in. Spent some time on google last night though and it looks like for the cost of getting this going again I may as well but a brand new kit.

Guess I need to head to eBay for used stuff!

Cheers smile

i would guess the motors are a different size to a normal car one. Car ones are a 540 type motor or that what i remember.

That's the one. RS540 style. Thanks for the replies. Think I'll go with a battery & servos on the Christmas list and take it from there...

Add a set of drift wheels to the list.

I have a similar car and they make a fun drift car.
