Guys,
Step son had a trainset for Christmas and am in need of a board to mount it.
When I was a lad mine was on an 8x4 sheet of chipboard hinged to the wall.
We don't have the wall space for this, so looking for a lightweight board to mount the mat & track on that I can store behind the wardrobe/cupboards.

Board need to be 1600 x 1280 to accomodate the track mat and the extension packs we have.

Was thinking about the type of stuff that pin boards are made out of - spray mount the mat and fix the track through into the board.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Chris

Sundeala board is fairly light and is often used for model railways, but it really needs mounting on a decent rigid framework. Is there a limit on total thickness of the board / frame?

Thanks for the info!
No real issue with thickness or making a frame for it.

Will google and see is there is a local stockist.
