Going brushless
Discussion
My Tamiya DF02 is currently undergoing a bit of an overhaul.
I've just bought a load of alloy hop up parts, some fresh bearings and a couple more 2s lipos. All that's left to do is to give it some power.
Can anyone recommend a brushless motor / ESC combo which fits the following criteria?
- Reasonably fast
- Suitable for tarmac / grass use
- Less than £100
- 540 size
I've had a look at a couple of Turnigy motors from hobbyking and EZrun and HPI combos on eBay. Not sure what kV / turnsmI need either, so recommendations welcome on that front too.
Cheers
