I posted this on two other forums but thought I would put it here too.
Finally got it finished after a break of about 6 months.
It's no Tamiya, but it's a big old bit of plastic perfect for trying some weathering. And only a tenner from TKmaxx.
Sorry for all the pics.

Lovely neat job of that. Is it the old Matchbox kit reborn?

At risk of sounding like a complete spud, given that I've yet to most any efforts of my own from within the last 35 years on here, I think you've got the undercarriage legs too near the vertical, so the model has an even narrower track than in real life:

It's an old Revell kit, not sure if it has origins from Matchbox.
Yeah I know the splay of the wheels isnt exact but the fitment of the undercarriage is dodgy at the best of times, this way it was more secure.

It looks awesome, you've done a great job. The weathering is just right. I think the kit dates form the late 1960's or early 1970's, it's not a Matchbox re-boxing, theirs was the 109 E3/4 in 1:32.

BTW I agree about the legs being slightly too vertical, but Yertis' photo is of a Bouchon, not a 109. Same u/c arrangement though.

Excellent.

Old models have their place. I remember seeing that in the 1973 Revell catalogue.

109s had a bewildering array of different engines over the various versions -

Rolls Royce Kestrel
Junkers Jumo 210
Daimler Benz DB600/601/605
Rolls Royce Merlin
Junkers Jumo 211
Hispano Suiza 12Z-89
