Does such a thing exist? I'm looking for the ability to fit something to a kids ride-on that would mean the electrics are only connected when I have my finger on a remote.

TIA

First thought would be something like a remote control car battery cutout fail safe, which when it detects there's no signal from the remote or the batteries in the car are low, it cuts in and closes the throttle and puts the brakes on (if you set it properly biggrin ).

Seems a lot of waste though just for a cutoff, as you'd have to get a receiver and transmitter, failsafe and batteries for them both. Possibly some sort of relay to join the RC failsafe to the ride on. Maybe there's an easier way.
