Model farmyard, 1:32.

Evening all,
My son's third birthday is coming up and I'd like to get him a farmyard for all his toy tractors. He's tractor mad, as all boys his age are. I've seen the brushwood ones on Amazon which get good reviews but can anyone advise otherwise? He's quite mature for nearly-three so I'd prefer to get him something 'good' as opposed to the plasticky Argos stuff that gets punted around. Any thoughts?
Cheers
Ben

Do they still make / sell the Britain's Farm range of toys these days? I seem to remember there being quite extensive buildings, equipment etc available that could be built up to make a farmyard. Creating the groundwork yourself or together with your son using diorama supplies could be good fun too perhaps?

i like this idea for when he's a bit older, just now he is still a bit little for dioramas.i'll look into brittains.
thanks
If you search the 'bay' for Brittains you only get one hit
I was disappointed but when I put in Britains with only one T the old peepers lit up
Hundreds of decent choices includes part collections in the twenty quid range
I feel tempted to collect 'cos it's in my genes
WILL resist temptation

There's a guy on PH whom owns a toy shop
He's sorted out a couple of lego deals and he's been very helpful whenever I've dealt with him

Some amazing stuff there right up to £150 for a massive shed!
I wonder if my god son might like some!
