Air Forces International incorporating Modelaid Int.
Discussion
Redecorating and came across a few old , but pristine copies of this 1989 magazine ,and I would have thought a keen aircraft modeller would appreciate these as a gift....... But , to make this a little more interesting you will first have to answer a few questions from the informative articles within.

What are the questions?
To be honest, I have far too many model magazines as it is.

Questions will be given after work today , 6ish . There are other aircraft publications too which may well tempt even you Eric

Meanwhile can anyone identify the ugly fat bird 304

ETA: After 6:00pm on the 5th November for the rest of the questions?? That's not fair!

As promised the questions, and only the answers corresponding with the magazines text will be accepted.
1. How did the Sopwith 2F.1 get its popular name “Camel “ ?
2 What special safety design feature was introduced on the Grumman Bearcat to prevent inadvertent overstressing of the main plane leading to catastrophic failure?
Good Luck, and may the best man win .

BTW - I guess you realise all the answers to questions like that are on Wikipedia? I happened to know the answers, but...just sayin'

Bravo ! I'm liking your honesty as well as your knowledge.
Drop me a message and the first magazine is yours. I wasn't too sure about the depth of interest, but you can rest assure the next questions will be stinkers

That's very kind, but I do have hundreds of aircraft/modelling reference books and magazines already (ask Perdu, but don't ask how I got them!). I reckon it would be nice for your excellent magazines to go to one of the younger modellers who might be reading?
Same with me. I have way too many books and mags and every so often do have a cull - but the collection somehow keeps growing.Eric Mc said:

I would normally be ruthless and either throw or give away to charity shops. However these particular magazines really are in excellent condition and finding someone who would appreciate this would be great.
In true Lottery Rollover style I shall can offer any unwanted prize in the next quiz .
Gassing Station | Scale Models | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff

V.good point about the timing of the questions . Reschedule to 10 pm tonight.
