Hi,

I'm trying to find the conversion kit to convert a Shackleton from a Mk3 to an AEW Mk2. Does anyone have one for sale or know if Aeroclub are still about to supply one?

spend 6 years on 8 Sqn working Shacks and want to build one to re-live my youth!

thanks Spike

John Adams and Aeroclub is still very much around, best way to contact him is via his section of the Britmodeller forum. An absolute gent, I can easily stand and chat to him for hours!

Lovely guy. I've had the pleasure of chatting with him and his Mrs on many occasions.

He had originally planned to retire a few years ago but sadly, his business partner - who would have taken over the business, died suddenly - so all his plans had to be rethought.

After a bit of a hiatus, Aeroclub is back in production but the range is not as extensive as it used to be.

As mentioned above, the best way to find out what is available is to contact John Adams through his section on the Britmodellers forum.
