Le Mans winner models
Discussion
Looking at buying a 1/43 model of each of the years I have attended (15) . Who makes the best ones. I have seen lots out there but can't make my mind up on manufacturer. They idealy need to have all the years available otherwise what's the point! Been going since 1998 missed 99 and 2000. Been every year since.
Thanks in advance.

Hi there,
Most of the ones you want have been replicated by either IXO or Minichamps. Spark have made some of the later ones.
Your collection will end up like mine if your not careful, very Audi heavy as they have won most of the recent Le Mans 24hrs.

Top shelf right side, couldn't you have just put something/anything in that space? Most of the ones you want have been replicated by either IXO or Minichamps. Spark have made some of the later ones.

Hi there,
Great collection by the way.
Need to move that car actually. All of the cars on the top shelf are Audi R8's ranging from Le Mans 1999 right up to Lime Rock Park in 2006 (The R8's last ever race) apart from the one you refer to. That is a Pescarolo and I just put it there temporarily but its been there quite a while now.
Regards
Tim
