1:35 Trumpeter Chinook

I'm thinking of getting back into model building & fancy a Chinook as they frequently fly over the house. Has anyone tried this model? Does it go together well?

There's some very detailed reviews online, so I would check them out. Don't know about the Chinook, but their Ford GT MkII had a number of inaccuracies. If you're not fanatical about correct detail but just want something that feels right to you, then go for it!

I've seen this in a shop before and have been very tempted by it, the rotors alone would make it pretty impossible to put on a shelf in my house though. Plus I'm scared I won't do a great job of it and therefore will have a constant reminder of an expensive folly.

You could build one sans rotors, in a diorama, being loaded into a C5 Galaxy. Wait... a C5 Galaxy in 1/35 would be quite big wouldn't it?
