Painting a model car body

Is the Tamiya spray paint (for polycarb bodies) ok for painting the outside of a model?
Wanting something like light or sage green, can get it in little pots but would prefer a spray is possible Thanks

I've not used a Tamiya PC aerosol for a few years, but from what I remember, they dry with a very matt finish. Not a problem with a clear RC car shell, as you paint the inside, and the clear plastic gives a shiny finish when looked at from the outside.

Might work if you apply a coat of clear gloss over the top.

Ta, that's rather what I was worried about, what's recommended as nearly every where is closed.

Tamya do cans for both types.
If you are spraying lexan shells use lexan paint.
If you are spraying a normal plastic model buy one of their lacquer sprays.
Paint is paint, it will land on whatever you point it at. Whether it stays on in an acceptable manner is another thing. Use the right paint.

That's been my dilemma, when I search Jadlam, I get the option of pots or spray for polycarb....

PS for lexan shells that you paint on the inside
