Has anyone had any experience of these model engines?

The phrase "you get what you pay for" comes to mind but it does look quite good. Thinking of getting one for my son's Christmas.

Any other alternatives?

A 500 piece, all metal model V8 engine for $39?

You’d be better donating your money to charity, cos you’ll be waiting a very long time - for it to never arrive. There’s a couple of hundred quid’s worth of hardware alone there - at the very least I’d say.

I’ve looked at them before.

That exact model is over £600 on Amazon should you still want to buy one!
