You know how it goes with older parents hehe

My mum has asked me to go on line and buy my dad a model of an MG Midget for Christmas.

Apparently he's been looking at one on line that retails at the £200 mark but would never buy himself anything like it at that price. So she wants us to club together to buy it for him.

Here's the rub.........can guess what's coming laugh

She doesn't know what website he's seen it on and can't ask him because its for Christmas. She also doesn't use his computer so can't look at history. I've looked at the MG Owners club but can't see anything on there and can't join the forum as need to be a paid up member.

Anybody know of such a model retailing around this price please ?

My head already aches for searching lol

Are you able to go round there, ask to borrow his computer (insert crap excuse) and check his history? Careful where you tread though!

A kit or a ready-built model?

Also take a look at Grand Prix Models for 1/43 kits.

or the Tri-ang 'Spot On' Midget speeding. Two on Ebay, one each side of the £200 mark:

MG Midget MkII Speeding - Boxed

The MkII was the best looking Midget (IMHO) as the roof came off completely, but it had wind-down windows and not the ugly side screens.
