Vehicle Model Build Kits
Discussion
Does anyone know where you can buy model car build kits, such as those in "FanHome" but all at once? A lot of these things are subscription based and take years to get all the components for the car. I want to be able to build it at my pace, not the pace the company sends the parts out at.
Would happily accept boats as well, but while I find them interesting I'm nowhere near as interested in them as cars!

1/8 scale cars and 1/4 scale bikes, I’ve got a couple of build threads on here

It's generally far more economical to buy a model car as a separate purchase than trying to acquire one through a magazine "part work" series.Would happily accept boats as well, but while I find them interesting I'm nowhere near as interested in them as cars!

Got a shock when I looked at the site at the price of the kit. Although tbf it looks really good and I’d love one but couldn’t justify the price.
Anyone know of any other decent kits but a lot cheaper?
Anything cheaper is either going to be crap detail or be a kit that requires painting. Anyone know of any other decent kits but a lot cheaper?
The older 1/6 scale Tamiya bikes are quite reasonably priced, fairly easy to put together and can be painted with rattle cans. The 1/12 F1 and race cars are a lot more complex and I wouldn’t really recommend these to a beginner.
Not a dicast collector, but these seem to top out at 1/18 before you get into having to justify the price territory.
