It is!

It's a scaled down copy of a miniature steam engine. The lower half - con rods and cranks - is largely missing, fortunately, because that part is below deck level so not very visible. The original boat kit is 50" long; I'm building a display model 1/3 smaller from plans they kindly sent me.
