Battery Safety
Discussion
Just an FYI I was at the local club this weekend for a small event (can't believe how big and complex the jets are getting)!

Anyway I digress, while standing watching the aircraft someone's battery violently caught fire while on charge on the table - and the intense flames easliy were jetting about 2ft, and took a concerted effort with a dry fire exstingusher to put it out...
Seeing this 1st hand has definately made me respect charging batteries and I will always ensure they are in a charging bag and left in the ammo can when not in use going forward...
