Thanks for the offer. I’ve never been, but have often thought of going. How does it compare with Duxford’s hangars?
ETA I’m assuming this is for Hendon not Cosford?
Hendon indeed.ETA I’m assuming this is for Hendon not Cosford?

Never been to the others so can't comment.
Plenty of room to have a look around.
I particularly liked the displays of the engines.
Ideal if you want to add detail to what comes as standard.
Lots of missiles as well.
Tempest engine for example

It’s similar in quantity to Cosford (I think the two of them put together would be smaller than Duxford), but it has aircraft that the others do not. The Sunderland is a particular favourite of mine.ETA I’m assuming this is for Hendon not Cosford?

Over the past few years there have been major reorganisations going on at the various RAF Museums. Hendon has been stripped of a lot of its content and a lot of it has been moved to Cosford. A number of display halls at Hendon have been reorganised. For instance, the Milestones of Flight hall is no more as is the old Battle of Britain Hall.
I don't think it is as good as it used to be but it's still worth a visit.
