1/76 Char B.1 bis and Renault FT.17 (Revell - ex-Matchbox)
Discussion
Finally finished what should have been a very quick and straightforward little project but, as ever, dragged on rather longer than expected.
I have always liked the Matchbox 1/76 armour sets (although I didn't build any when first issued) and it is nice that Revell seem to be happy to keep re-releasing them. In their original Matchbox guise they were moulded in quite lurid coloured plastic but Revell stick to the more normal grey plastic look.
The real "fun" aspect of these kits is that they come with a diorama base which helps put the model into some sort of historical context.
This particular kit is even better in that you get two vehicles in the box as well as a nicely rendered war damaged street scene - plus a number of figures too.
