polish

went to the local model shop today and they cant get the tamiya polish, although i did get a packet of the little polish applicators. wondered if anyone had tried using super resin polish to give airbrushed acrylic a little cut and shine ?

My fine paint polish of choice used to be Bare-Metal polish but have just as good results with Meguiar's Plast R-X plastic polish on Tamiya TS and Halfords aerosol paints. As it's name suggests it imparts excellent clarity on bare moulded clear plastic windows.
A bit of Super Resin /whatever wax is to hand for finishing shine.

Thanks will acrylic paint applied by airbrush stand upto to a bit of polish ?

No idea, I don't have one but my guess would be yes...but try a test piece first?
