Got one of the above.

In great nick, with original transmitter, servos & speed control.
Runs superbly, could use somoe new stickers but mostly good.

Not seen one for sale in a while, and could use some christmas cash to be honest.

Anyone know rough value prior to me dumping it on e bay???

If it's the proper old three-speed Hilux then quite a lot. Send me pics and happy to value. One thing I would add is wait if you can as old Tamiya stuff is not fetching money on eBay right now.

It is indeed the 3 speeder, it could use 2 new tyres, but after that its in great nick.

Any rough idea of value with all the radio gear and so on while i try and sort out a photo???

Much appreciated

Ooh, I used to drool over these in Beaties when I was a lad, I could never afford one then and I doubt I'd be able to afford one now!!

Value for the vintage is based entirely on condition. Witout seeing it I'd say somewhere between £150 and £350.

I Used to love my old Tamiya's . The excitement of a new kit to build was fantastic and gave you a real sense of achievement as a kid when you finally charged the battery and let it rip - aaaah great memories!!!

I used to have a Grasshopper , Monster Beetle and then a highly modified Manta Ray .

I bought a Dark Impact a couple of years ago which was a mistake as it led me to buy a HPI Baja - boys and their toys..............

i have a collection of older rc cars, about 30 at the last count, to mention a few, hotshot, bigwig, bommerang, manta ray, cat, procat, the list goes on.

used to race a few years ago with a hotshot when it first came out then got a bigwig, that motor was fast, then got a cat
