Seeing as the racing was cancelled today and had my car set up i thought id not waste the chance to show you what i race.
Its in the 1/10th scale electric off road class.




Any comments or questions welcomed.

whats that, BJ4, or B44, thinking of getting a new one myself, run a cat3000 at the mo

Its a B44 . I have changed my car a few times , however happy with this one.

Good car the B44, I ran one for a while. How come you run the PT so far down the car? The wire looks very close to the spur.

I know , ive tie wrapped the wire to the top deck , would the pt be ok to move to the front of the car? It was stating in the instructions not to locate where there would be interference.

Put the PT as far forward as possible, Ive seen races won and lost on PT position.

There shouldn't be an issue running up by the receiver, thats where I had mine mounted in the b44.


This is how I've got mine as below in my durango, it's infront of the servo on it's side so against the advice of the instructions but I've not missed any laps yet.



People are also running them between the motor and ESC and they aren't having any problems, the signal it puts out is pretty strong

Cheers , ill move my one to next to the motor , im happier with that as i didnt want to have issues next to the spur gear.

I always put mine as far forward as possible, you never know when you might cross the line next to somebody on the last lap of a final.

Right up the front of the shell for me. Windscreen at the least!

Not raced for a while, er......15 years actually, have most cars gone shaft drive now?

Most of the Buggies now have shaft , the cat sx and losi have belts .
