I know this is more than likely going to get moved to the scale model forum , but i thought it could warrant a better response here.

I am looking for certain snap together kits that you could buy off the actual aircraft whilst you were in flight. I believe they were roughly 1/200 in scale. I want a small colection of the aircraft i have travelled on in the past.

I don't want to head to ebay , so does anyone have a link to an aviation/hobby shop that sells these kits? Some of the airlines are long gone so it's probably a bloody big long shot.

Cheers

Post your question here (along with the aircraft you want):

http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?showf...

I guarantee someone will eihter have the models you want, or be able to give you a good supplier.

There is a good model shop in Manchester Airport (or just about any large airport) maybe they could help?

Did you ever go in a MyTravel Boeing 757? I've got one still in the packaging if so.

I've undertaken this little attraction too, attempting to obtain models of every plane I've been on.

Only been scuppered with Air China 747SP as nobody does one.

Happy collecting.

I knew at least one other around here would be also be doing this.

Off to Cosford airshow tomorrow so hopefully one or more of the traders will be selling them.
