Not a big Jap fan apart from the grid girls of Suzuka, but that looks fantastic

Yep , if you played the original Gran turismo it should ring a bell.

£50, get the slot car version for £22.

i would personally say the detail is better on the slot car, has a driver, even goes as far as having slotted discs.

Plus if you fancy it, you can chuck it on your scalextric track, plus they are bringing out mods in the future to "supe" them up!!

Then your personal opinion is wrong if you think that a slot car has more detail than this. It's a shame my camera is not good enough to show the closer deatials on this model , such as the photetched cabin details tiny Brembo , Nismo and Recaro markings. Theres a reason this costs more than twice as much

Slot car...Yeah

No need to be so rude, do you have the Slot car? I happen to have seen both, both great models.

Detail wise the models are hardly any different. Personally i'd say the slot car looks better, but obviously it doesnt have the weight. Slot car is the bargain at £22.

Out of curiosity, could you post pictures of the slot car to compare? Your link and picture are completely different cars to the OP's car.

Sorry. Don't mean to be rude , but if you think the level of detail mactches , then you have no idea about model cars.

The model is 1:43 scale , slot cars? 1:32 ish? so it's much smaller. And yes i have seen HPI's slot cars as my brother has them. and no the level of detail is not the same.

Plus you have posted R32 and R34 road going Skylines. This is an R33 Homologated special.

The R32 Display model costs less than the slot car.

I'm curious as to how you have seen the model since only a handfull have come to the UK as it was designed for minicar fan club in Japan.

You do know that the car the OP has bough is not the same as the pic you have posted above?
