Kit turned up today, very nice LITTLE model.
Not decided on theme or scheme yet, hopefully should think of something soon. Maybe the target tug, just because it's colourful.

Resin parts need cleaning up in a big way, no idea how I am going to get the big bits off their sprues yet

I was tempted by the target tug version too, but if you're going to dispaly the model 'on the ground', you can't see the nice striped colours, mostly just the plain siver (which is notoriously difficult to get right anyway).

It wasn't my first choice of model, so I'll just be sticking with kit decals, but adding invasion stripes to Clostermann's machine (as in the Revell version).

I may use those images to help me scratchbuild come of the internal structure on my one. The Tempest is an odd mixture of spaceframe and monocoque. Hawkers tended to move forward in easy steps.

This is where I have reached with my Tiffie, hope the image comes out well enough to see

shout ahem! Zaxxxonnn! Finished that stringbag yet?!

Plenty of time for an oob Tempest build by March 20th, and you don't want all the money you've spent so far to be wasted, do ya?

C'mon bud, this guy didn't give up, bet he had doubts a few times though! http://www.ipmsstockholm.org/magazine/2003/11/stuf...
