People keep referring to using this - I've come across it referred to a lot online, but until I came here I always assumed it was a foreign thing, as I've had no luck finding the stuff in the UK (for anything other than extortionate fees for rebottling).

Where are you all getting it from? I really like the effect it has on clear canopies, and the fact that it can be used reliably as a clearcoat/gloss of sorts.

Good Luck: apparently there was some on EBay at £17 per bottle just before Christmas...

Anybody tried Quick Shine from Lakeland as mentioned on this Britmodeller thread?

Bigger bottle than Klear so price isn't quite so bad.

I got mine from ASDA or Morrisons. If you are still having trouble getting it then let me know and Ill get some for you if you like.

I use it on planes so that the decals go on smoothly.

I actually happened to find some of the 'Pledge Multi Surface Wax' while I was out today, pure coincidence that I'd posted a thread. From googling, there are mixed reviews of this stuff (being a different formula to the original Klear) - has anyone here tried it?

That Lakeland stuff looks very interesting too. Might have to pick some up if this stuff doesn't work.

Anthony, is the stuff they sell near you the original formula?
