I have a plan to start a little collection of Porsche models and would appreciate some pointers. My plan is to have an example of each evolution of 911 since the initial design.

Where would you suggest I go to buy them, all must be silver with no stickers or graphics and all the same scale?

Thanks for any suggestions

1/43 Minichamps do the lot, Spark 964s are great though.

Go with the Minichamps 1:43's. They do the whole lot , you'll struggle in 1:18 to find them and will end up spending a lot more if you do.

They do a complete lineup in Silver.

Try your local Porsche dealer, they do some sets you won't see elsewhere, and more often than not in silver.

Or try here:

Thanks for the info everyone, I'm edging towards 1:43, less chance of domestic strife that way!

Never seen the first one before so can't comment, but am sure the second is available somewhere in 1/43!
