1/43 Daimler dart
Discussion
Apart from an "out of my budget" Crossway model I have failed to find an example of this classic 60's sports car, I have however found a reproduction of the Spot-on version. From my childhood memories I thought these models were noticeably larger than Dinky and Corgi but they are described as 1/42 scale so this would make this particular car just over 2mm longer than 1/43.
So, my question is, has anyone got one and does it sit amongst 1/43 models ok or is the difference noticeable ?

Spot-Ons were indeed 1/42 scale but were noticeably larger than Corgis and Dinkys of that time because unlike today, D & C didn't stick to 1/43; some were as small as 1/50. About a year ago, Model Collector magazine published a comprehensive list of D & C's from about 1955-65 and what scales they were.
One of the white metal manufacturers (forget which now) did a Daimler Dart kit, but this was about 20 years ago so may be quite hard to find.
