Diesel Sport Megane (170bhp) - tuneable?

I'm looking at one of these (07/08 model) as a motorway hack (work in London during the week, go back to the family in Pembrokeshire at wkends).

I bet they've got some poke combined with 40+mpg (real-world).

Just wondering; do they respond to a re-map or are there better routes to more power? Or are they best left stock?
