The clutch on my 206 will work fine most of the time but occasionally it won't disengage properly and struggle getting it into gear. Its been suggested to me it could be the release cable? Just seems odd that its intermittent. Any advice would be appreciated.

Change the cable. Its a common fault on the 206,the "auto adjuster" built into the cable plays up.TIP!! The new cable has a sort of "transit clamp" fitted which keeps it ready for fitting, only remove when its completely fitted.Make sure its in place at all times, and does not come off when fitting it.Tape it,cable tie it as its easy to knock it off when fitting.

Ta for the advice. I'll be having a go this weekend and fingers crossed that'll fix it.
