Picked up this on Friday

Here is my new toy (needs wheels refurbing)

Alpine GTA Turbo registered in 1988, all the important bits refurbed, eg suspension turrents, rusty chassis bits, engine top end rebuild, gearbox rebuilt, new suspension, brakes, it even has the correct but rare rear tyres.

First drive was only 150 miles, but it pulls well, temperature was stable, its comforrtable, has good handling especially turn in, smooth ride etc.

I have always liked the look of these and now I have one. For a 24 year old car its great

Always liked these since a customer of mine (c.20 years ago) took me for a run in his new one. I guess they don't feel quite as quick nowadays, but at the time it felt bloody rapid and the handling was lovely.
