i own a Renault laguna2004 1.9 dci and for the past five months the radiator fan has never worked even through the heat wave the temperature gauge works but never above half way the instrument panel lights dim slightly after starting car the fan is in working order
The fan will be on a thermostatic switch so will only cut in if it needs to. If the gauge never rises above halfway, it doesn't need to... If the gauge was wrong, you radiator expansion tank would boil over.
