C2 VTS good track/b road car??
Discussion
So my RX8 packed in just after christmas and I've been on the look out for a really cheap but fun car with a bit of speed to it. I've had a look at things like audi tt 1.8t and golf's of the same category etc but they all come in at nearly 200k miles for my price range and they're all f
ked.
I spotted a Citroen C2 VTS and is has a respectable 0-60 of 8.3 seconds. Now I was thinking would this make a good car for windy back roads? I loved my rx8 and the handling was amazing and I'm not expecting it to be close to the rx8 but am I going to be left massively disappointed and wishing I got another car?
I plan to strip the cars and get it down 50kg or so, after a little while I'd be getting stiffer suspension, good tyres then start looking at induction kits and more free flowing exhaust which I would be paying for bit by bit over the months (which is why I cant just buy a more expensive car outright).
Amy info on these cars would be great, I've heard all the usual "its french and a s
tbox". Just looking for some personal views on the car really.
