Peugeot 107 Urban - worth a punt?

Urgently need wheels for my daughter for a new job. It's her first car and first to insure. She's 21. A neighbour is selling her 2012 Peugeot 107 with 37000 miles for £1500. Is it worth a punt at £1250? In good condition with service history and five doors. Neighbour bought a new Dacia.
