Sounds like you need to do a readers car thread once you get this figured oot!

XU10 from the 306 Gti 6 was pretty common, and relatively cheap.

Doubt the K20 has been done a lot, it'll be expensive and work intense. Don't see why it couldn't be though, there are loads of Mini's with B16 engines.

Might depend on how good you are with fabrication, or if you know someone who is. You'll need fully custom mounts and driveshafts at the very least, plus a new ECU and loom.

Looking online it seems there is a 106 that's had it done, and a 205 thread on 205gtidrivers. Probably worth checking them out.

And yeah, welcome to the forums!

There’s a company here that does the mounts - https://www.instagram.com/p/DNRDs24I14e/?img_index...

Engine will be circa £2k, you could get a harness off AliExpress, an ecu and mapping another £1k, plus driveshafts, manifold, exhaust. I would be amazed if you got change from £8k for this swap, depends on how much you can do yourself?
