Rear Lamp Switch - 205 Gti

Can anyone tell me where the switch is that turns on the boot light in my 205 Gti 1.9....

I can't find it!!!!

I'm fairly sure it's a 'tilt-switch' (for lack of a proper name) that's built into the tailgate somewhere.

it's in the boot behind the plastic panel somewhere.
