how much does ripped seat affect value on a 205 gti?
Discussion
I going to be selling my 1.6 gti soon, it's in really good condition, mechanically sound and apart from a bit of rust on the passenger sill the bodywork is in good nick.
it's done about 125,000 miles.
however th e drivers seat is badli ripped on the side bolster and the leg bolster has collapsed and ripped, the rear seat have also got a couple of rip in it.
how much do you think this affects the value? i could probably get some half decent ones off ebay for about £150 and a re-trim would be around the £400-500 mark, is it worth doing though?

i have tried, missed out on some the other day, they went for 130 in the end, but then it's waiting for some that aren't ripped in the same place and also naerby, if i have to drive 300 miles to get them, that's another 70 quid.
and of course the longer it takes the less tax and mot the car has left.
