206 gti flashing air bag light

My girlfriends 2000 206`s airbag light has just started flashing? can anyone tell me what its trying to tell me , and is it a dealer reset job?

It means that the connections under one of the seats is damaged more than likely.

Thanks for the reply but theres no wires under the seat mate? I disconnected the battery and it seems to of worked for now.

Ohh well that was short lived the airbag lights flashing again any suggestions folks

You must have the only peugeot with an airbag that has no wiring for the pretensioners and the seat squab then

Could be, or the previous owner has put different seats in it? Ill have another rumage and see if theres anything under the carpet.
