Peugeot 307 - wet inside

Went to clean the debris from the inside of Mrs B's 307 (5 door 57 reg) and found the drivers side carpet and the spare wheel comapartment full of water! She had been complaining for a couple of weeks that she could hear a "sloshing" noise.
Any ideas? Its still under warranty so booked in next week, however, just wondered if there was anything obvious Ishould look for?
