206 gti rear axle help needed

Does anyone know if the later 206 180 gti`s rear axle fits the earlier 206 gti? the breakers have sent be the wrong one.

Same fitting to fit but has stiffer bars and added support beams, would have thought it will make it handle a bit odd if yours is a basic smaller engined one.

still got it at the moment, but im waiting for the breakers to take it back
