I've gathered from another PH forum that my cambelt needs changing. Any of you helpful chaps know:

1. if this is a labour intensive job
2. if there is a good independent garage in the Northants area who could do it?

According to Autodata 2.1 hrs ,so £75 labour plus a belt kit should do it i would have thought.

My g/f's was about £170 (this was up north though)

Belt kit from gsf(assuming its a 16v)£70 so £200 looks generous to me and £332 looks like a rip off.
