Clio 172 vs 306 GTI vs 206 GTI

So I'm considering one of these cars as a daily driver plus occasional track toy. I assume Clio is the fastest. What are the main things in between these in terms of the way they drive, reliability, etc ?

Clio/306 both excellent. Finding a good 306 is hard, they are old & break lots.
206 isnt a good gti.

friends have got 306 gti-6 and a clio 172 as track cars and there's very little in it both great cars and fun on track

Not sure I'd bother with the 206 it's never driven one but they never had great reviews compared to the 306 and clio.

206 Gti 180 would be better option than 206 GTi - 206 GTi quite quick but watch out for ECU/Engine problems
