Why don't people look after their motors!?!

After owning my gti 180 for about a week now, I can start to see the songs of abuse... When giving it it's first thorough clean and major checkover I found the following;

The boot light jammed down the back of the holder
A ganj grinder under the boot carpet
A receipt for a trackday at angelsee
The map reading lights are fked
And the icing on the cake, the radiator fan has been UNPLUGGED as the temp sending unit has failed!!!
I can only say that a complete tt has owned this before me
So, if until about a month ago you owned an onyx black gti 180 on a 54 plate ending MLO your a lazy who should never be allowed a performance car again.
It's all well and good raggin it everywhere but if your unwilling to look after it and spend some pennies your really not a car enthusiast
I'll end on a good note, you must have paid some nice Lithuanian people to clean it as the surface is immaculate

There's nothing there to indicate the previous owner was a "tt" apart from the fan being unplugged (which you are going to find expensive and tedious to repair I suspect hence the unplugging)

Grinder - Drug use, whatever your take on it does not mean someone does not care about their car. You know what it is for example, a lot of people wouldn't have a clue and it would appear you look after your car.

I hear what your sayin stoat, i was just pissed off! I'd spent a long time trying to find an unmolested model (non-existent?) and came across this. Sorted the fan problem, sending unit and control relay blown! £25 and 2 hours later done. Now let's book a trackday and shmoke some st lol!

obv you didnt try hard enough, how can you blame the previous owner when you bought it!?

nobody made you buy it, look harder next time you buy a car.
