Hi All

I have a 2004 Goodwood Phantom and as I only use it at weekends mostly but sometimes every other weekend I use a battery conditioner to keep it from losing battery charge and going flat. I attach the conditioner straight on to the battery in the boot and every time I remove the positive and negative clips, something goes wrong with the dash warning lights.

I have only used the conditioner three times in 12 months but notice something each time. First time it was the speakers that emitted a very high pitched whistle. That went when I turned the battery off using the on off slider in the boot. The second time the sat nav would not accept a new destination and again the on / off switch sorted that out and now, the third time - the airbag symbol and seatbelt symbol has come on and I can't get rid of it. Any ideas? I am pretty sure the seatbelt / airbag is not faulty but something [a minor electrical surge when unpluggung the conditioner perhaps?] has upset the system.

Hope someone can help...
