Gents;

Might be picking this fine little diddy up;

http://www.ocpabi.com/index.asp?ViewType=LARGE&amp...

I've always wanted a Vermillion Red Turbo R. Had a Tudor Red one which looked brighter in sunlight but definitely was more of an 'oxblood' color in the shade. I'm assuming this one is Vermillion, seeing as how bright it appears.

I'd go see it in person but it's in California and I'm in Ohio and can't get away. What does the consensus here think? Looks Vermillion to me..

Cheers,
Aaron

I'd be 99% certain that it is Vermillion, I've got a colour chart in my draw at the office, I will double check but for a car of that year I don't think it could be anything else.

B&S;

I'd appreciate that. My '89 was Tudor Red so the possibility exists that this could also be Tudor, but I *think* it's Vermillion as it appears way brighter in the pics.

Tell you what, I'll use the chassis No from the ad and try to get the factory spec, it should still exist on the system. It certainly looks like Vermillion, it's not hard to miss is it. laugh

it's the same colour as my Mulsanne - vermillion.

We used to call it "fire engine" colour for obvious reasons.

want a volunteer to drive it from California to yours ?

Stuart,

Indeed that would be awesome. Of course, the fuel it'll guzzle on that haul would probably outweigh the cost of trucking it inside a nice, warm trailer and avoiding those miles put on it wink

Stuart; could you imagine breaking down in butt-f*ck Oklahoma in a Bentley, being British AND asking for help?!?!

Hahaha, those hicks would have you roasting on a spit in their back yard. Of course, I'm a Yankee and I'm even afraid to venture that far out into US "open territory" biggrin

Just grow a beard, wear camouflage and take my Lynyrd Skynyrd collection in the car with me.

and remember to "squeal like a liddle piiiiggy" if required

Hahaha, funny what you say---my wife said you'd be just fine and would probably eat for free since you'd be such an 'exotic' sight to those folks biggrin

Sort of like your last trip to the Colonies eh?

I am a Brit and have been to Jones OK, nine miles out of OK City. Only problem I had was a guy hung up the phone on me as he could not understand what I was saying !!!

Wear a blazer and cravat like roger Moore in the cannonball run (wrong car I know, but you get the picture)!
