bentley warranty

Morning peeps,
You will have to excuse me I come from the dark side of the aston forum!
A friend has a bentley which is just coming out of warranty and has been quoted £2800 to extend it,
Is the bentley extended warranty after the three year manufacture one a bentley one or is it a 3rd party one masquerading as a bentley one - on the A.M. site the consensus seems to be A.M ones are 3rd party policys and arent worth the paper written on any thoughts,

^ The quote for the renewal sounds expensive....a friend with an 04 CGT has been quoted about £1700 for 1 yrs renewal although there will be an inspection charge on top of that unless it comes at the same time as a service when I think they can perform the checks at the same time. I would suggest that your friend shops around between dealers as there must be some 'mark up' on the premiums. I'm not sure though on who the warranty is 'with' though it is via a main dealer

As they get older it covers less and less, save the money and don't bother.
