Got my Turbo R back today

Finally collected my 1990 Turbo R today, four months after it was smahed up in Paris on 1st August. We had just completed wonderful 3,000 mile European Grand Tour including Hungarian F1 race.

Last day of holiday, it got run into and badly damaged. I thought it was going to be written off but instead it was expertly repaired by Wildae Restorations of North Devon. http://www.wildae.co.uk/

After four months, I nearly forgot how to drive it again but within a few miles it felt marvellous. I had to collect my wife from Exeter hospital after a spinal fusion operation and she was very appreciative of the smooth ride home.

Repair bill was £11,500 which was very close to write-off. Highway Insurance were excellent and definitely recommened. So glad it wasn't written off as it took me two years to find this car, low mileage (60,000), full Bentley service history, only two previous owners and as-new condition.

Extremely happy today. Bentley and wife both safely repaired and back home.
