Bentley RT automatic headlight sensor...Where??

Hi, can anyone tell me the location of the automatic headlight sensor on a 1997 Bentley Rt please??

dunno -- when i switch to auto, the lights come on when the ignition is on. I'm not convinced its auto as in "switch on when daylight goes" but is auto as in "switch on automatically when you start the engine and go off when you take key out"

if that makes sense. Well, thats what my RT does

Its usually a little sensor on the dashboard

My one acts the same but it shouldn't. It should be dependent on ambient light.

I've been told the problems not the sensor but to get to the board the dash has to come off, so I'll live without Auto.

Will be interested to know what you find if you resolve it.

My Arnage is the same. Occasionally the lights don't come on when it is really bright out but generally when set to Auto they just come on with the engine. I was told by the dealer that it's sensitive to how well charged the battery is, which I doubt somehow.
